Hours per week: 10 – 25 hours per week

Job Description:

Outreach Associates will execute and promote all outreach activities related to NAMI SMC’s programming and community. This job can have different population focuses including General, Latinx, or AANHPI.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all scheduled community outreach events related to your population focus – resource fairs, tabling, etc.
  • Attend NAMI SMC programming as needed to relay program goals in outreach efforts
  • Perform necessary administrative activities in order to track all outreach activities
  • Actively promote NAMI SMC programs across all aspects of the organization
  • Ensure all interested program participants have access to all program info
  • Collaborate with outreach director regularly to stay informed on the status, challenges, metrics, and needs of the outreach program

Education, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Proficiency in the use of computers for:

  • Google and Microsoft Office
  • Data Entry / Tracking
  • Zoom & Other Tele-Conferencing Platforms

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $24 – $26 (depending on experience)
