We invite you to mark your calendars for Saturday, October 5th, and join us as we stride together to support mental health advocacy, increase awareness, break the stigma, and raise funds for our free mental health services. You can choose to walk a 1k or 5k route and enjoy music, food, a community resource fair, a kid’s zone, and more!

This year, our theme is “I am NAMIWalks” because we believe in the power of collective action to create meaningful change. When we come together on October 5th, it’s a choice to unite for our shared passion for Mental Health for All and to believe that real change can happen when we join forces as a community.

Last year was a huge success, and with the help of our community, we surpassed every goal we set. We raised over $247,000, had 630 participants, and formed 52 teams. This year, we aim to make our walk bigger and better than ever before. Whether you’re a passionate advocate, a dedicated supporter, or someone simply looking to make a positive impact, there’s a place for you at NAMIWalks San Mateo County.

We encourage you to create a team, join a team, or come as an individual participant and start spreading the word about NAMIWalks in your community. By becoming a team captain, you can invite your friends, family, co-workers, and community to join as team members and walk alongside you.

To sign up for the walk, make a donation, or seek general information, visit our website at or contact our 2024 NAMIWalks Manager, Olivia, at

Let’s stand united on October 5th and beyond to make a difference in the lives of those affected by mental health conditions. Together, we are stronger!
