No parent should ever feel helpless if their child is ill. Too often, parents of children with mental health conditions can’t find help when they need it. The Mental Health Reform Act of 2016 (S.2680) will help, but only if it passes!
The Mental Health Reform Act of 2016 (S. 2680) invests in early intervention, so children get the right mental health care at the right time and live healthy lives.
- 2680:
- Establishes grants for effective early childhood mental health programs
- Creates grants for telehealth child psychiatry
- Requires 5% of state mental health block grant funds be used to support effective programs that address early serious mental health conditions
- 2680 will help children get mental health care they need, when they need it. But, only if it passes.
