Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) Lunch & Learn

Jun 18, 2024 @ 11:45 am - 1:00 pm

Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) Lunch & Learn on June 18th!

RSVP by June 12th!

We invite you to join us on June 18th for our final in-person Tardive Dyskinesia (TD) Lunch & Learn. There will be a light lunch provided free of charge. Tim Ho (bio below), PA, MHS, MBA, an expert on TD, will be sharing valuable information with our community.

Tim Ho will cover the basics of TD and discuss the current treatments that are helping those who have developed this disorder, often as a result of taking antipsychotic medications.

TD is a persistent, involuntary movement disorder characterized by uncontrollable, abnormal, and repetitive movements of the face, torso, limbs, fingers, or toes. The condition is associated with prolonged use of antipsychotic medications, which may be necessary for treating mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. Approximately 600,000 people in the United States are living with TD, and about 65 percent have not yet been diagnosed.

Everyone is invited to attend this presentation. Please bring any questions you may have and, most importantly, any loved ones who are experiencing TD.
