Challenging Assumptions about Mental Illness
The National Alliance on Mental Illness, San Mateo County (NAMI SMC)
- Presenters with lived experience talk openly what it’s like to live with a mental health condition.
- Presenters humanize the misunderstood, highly stigmatized topic of mental illness by showing that it’s possible, and common, to live well with a mental health condition.
Registration is required for this session because space is limited to 25 people. Location information will be provided at the time of registration. RSVPs are requested for this session!
Presentation includes a question and answer period with the speakers, opportunities to enhance community connections with others, and information about available community resources. Light refreshments served.
